This is episode 47 of my unreal engine 4 beginner tutorial series, in today’s episode we continue on from the last episode, showing you how you can add the functionality to the Heads Up Display (HUD) elements to make the text and health bar change based on the player health variable.
We do this through the use of a binding function, to return a value for the interactive UI content based on a simple little script that communicates with the player character blueprint.
