(textured lights starts to appear at around 3:00 actually)
I just finished making area lights with texture support. There is a ton of uses for this I can think of – faking global illumination, glowing panels and screens, lighting from windows, reflecting billboards or stuff in night scenes (like in UDK Samaritan demo), neons, … you know what I will make a video showing the potential of these!
