i just released the demo for my game Megabonk on the Steam Next Fest, and a lot of people played the demo of the game and started making funny builds that completely break my game. The last one in particular was really cool
also i got a lot of weird suggestions from players, like this one, telling me to add skating to my game. this made my game really fun! such a weird idea but it turned out to be a really great idea! makes the movement and speed of the game feel a lot faster and more fun.
This is the progress of my game, Megabonk! I’ve spent 4-5 months developing it so far, and it has gone from beans to uuh less beans i guess. My game is sort of a mix between Vampire Survivors, Risk of Rain 2, and other roguelikes. There are randomly generated maps, and a bunch of different enemies and unlockable content. I’m making it in the Unity game engine. You should definitely wishlist Megabonk on Steam.
