Animating blendshapes via Blender for Unity? Yep, that’s possible. But some people often make the mistake of directly keyframing the shape key instead of using a driver. I’m not entirely sure why the properties also animate when we keyframe the driver, but I think this is the best approach if you want to animate the blendshape in Blender rather than in Unity.

I’m developing an #indiegame called « DVerge. » It is a sci-fi game infused with post-apocalyptic elements, featuring four playable main characters who embark on missions together. These characters are the ones I’ve showcased on this channel previously, and yes, they are integral to the game.
What programs am I using to create the game?
#Blender : An open-source graphics program capable of modeling, animating, compositing, 2D motion graphics, and more! While it offers a plethora of features, I primarily use it for animation and modeling, focusing on creating game assets.
#Unity : In my opinion, the best game engine for indie game development (please don’t be mad if you’re an Unreal Engine enthusiast). I have a background in C#, so Unity feels like home to me.
#FLStudio : Although I’m relatively new to music composition, I enjoy creating my own background music for the game.
