Tencent are rumoured to be in the market for CryTek, makers of CryEngine as well as Crysis, The Climb, The Hunt and other games. This comes shortly after Amazon Lumberyard, based on CryEngine, is open sourced. Is this the end of CryEngine…. does it even matter anymore?
