I will explain the different Multifunction Displays (MFD), how to target, the different Predicted Impact Points (PIP), how to lock and fire missiles, missile countermeasures, Fixed and Gimballed Weapons, the differences in Laser, Ballistic, and Disruption weapons, and what Autocannons, Repeaters, and Scatterguns.

That being said… remember Star Citizen is very much an ALPHA and is intended to help discover and identify bugs, to which there at time are very many. However, with 3.8 this to me, has been the most stable and playable version of the game.
Star Citizen is 2 Games really though, the Persistent Universe that aims to build a First Person MMO Space Sim that encompasses gameplay in ship & on ground, economy and anything else you can think of. It’s built in the Star Engine (a modified Lumberyard Engine). You’ll see massive Space Ships that you can fly with friends, land on planets, explore or whatever your way to whatever goal you choose.
Squadron 42 is the Single Player Campaign of Star Citizen & the Spiritual Successor of Wing Commander. The Idea is the game is immersive, cinematic, beautiful & seamless… with NO LOADING SCREENS once in game.
Remember however both Games are currently in the Alpha of their development with the hope that SQ42 Episode 1 will have a Feature Complete Beta by Q3 2020 (Hopefully).
