This is the first tutorial in a series that show how to convert a game made for the Blender game engine so that it will play in a web browser.
The original game consisted of a car driving into spinning gemstones to score points, avoiding obstacles that reduce health.
This tutorial shows how to make the car work in a web browser using blend4web.
In this tutorial the car body is made the parent of the wheels and steering wheel. This makes it easier to place the car at the start of each level.
To make it easier to work on the car it is moved to a different layer.
The tutorial shows how to point the chassis in the negative Y direction.
The tutorial shows how to position the wheels relative to the chassis.
The tutorial shows how to set a (dummy) cube as the steering wheel.
Selecting all the parts of the vehicle are moved back to the original layer.
The tutorial shows how to set up a ground plane.
The tutorial shows how to set the physics properties (blend4web settings) to make the vehicle simulation.
The tutorial shows how to use the blend4web scene viewer, to control the car (using the arrow keys).
