In this tutorial I will show 3 ways how to make an isometric game. Also, I will go over the pros and cons of each way and help you decide which one is the best for you in terms of Art, Programming and Gameplay.
I used Unity but these concepts can be used in any game engine.
Isometric perspective is commonly used for games where you have to know where everything is positioned. These types of games include City Builders, Real-Time Strategies, Tycoons, etc.
