In this Unreal Engine tutorial we are going to learn how to easily add dodging animations to a fighting game created wit the True Fighting Game Engine for Unreal Engine.

I will show how to set the dodging movements up for fighter characters based on UE4 and UE5 mannequin skeletons.

The True Fighting Game Engine for Unreal Engine (5.0-5.4 and further) is my personal project intended to help you build your own fighting games. You can create either Mortal Combat or Tekken style of games, depending on what you want. The True Fighting Game Engine for UE supports 2.5D and 3D Arena fighting modes. You can either make your game single player (fighter vs AI), or local multiplayer, or network multiplayer, depending on your needs.
You still need some knowledge about blueprint programming for Unreal Engine to use the fighting game engine.
