Learning how to create environments in Unreal Engine 4 can be a tricky and daunting topic. Fortunately, our good friend Andre is here to enlighten us with a ton of tips and tricks.

In this breakdown, you’re going to learn how to model simple grass geometry in Blender. After that, we’re going to learn how to take the grass you made, and import it into Unreal Engine 4, and create a beautiful flowing grassy field, complete with flowers, wind patterns, and color variation. As a bonus, we’re also going to learn about creating and texturing your own trees and rocks to use in your projects.
If you want to learn more about stylized texturing, consider joining Stylized Station’s Coloring Book, a course specifically designed to teach you how to become a texture artist.
