Unreal Engine 4 | Open World Tutorial #1 | LOD (Level of Detail) Poly Count



Here I show how to make meshes reduce in poly count and take up fewer resources as they become farther away/take up less screen space.

It is essential for things like far trees and grass in open world games.

Also, I forgot to include this but if you change the objects material at each different LOD then you can test out to see if its working as it will change material appearance.
