This video is the beginning of a lecture series about how to take your SketchUp Models, and within minutes have them fully rendered in real time inside of UE4 with a clean light bake. Using UE4 as your real time render engine gives you a lot of power. From it, you can quickly generate photorealistic still renderings, real time animations, and also a VR walkthrough using HTC Vive of Occulus Rift. This can all be generated from a simple SketchUp Model as I will demonstrate. The key here is the release of Datasmith for SketchUp, which makes importing models for SketchUp to UE4 seamless and easy.

Software Used:
Unreal Engine 4.20
Unreal Studio + Datasmith for SketchUp
