In this Amazon Lumberyard tutorial, follow technical artist Jared Kuharski aka “Big Monet” in the Lumberyard forums, as he demos how to import a 32-bit Grayscale Heightmap (doc link for more info here: into Lumberyard to generate your terrain, and then use the Terrain Editor to modify using various brushes to raise, lower, flatten, and smooth out the terrain.
