This Unity tutorial covers how to black out Unity scenes that are created in 3d template and URP template. Basically, we change the environment and camera settings.
From time to time I work on 3D Fix Wiring demo, one challenge was the environment for the VR port. To overcome it I made the imposter sabotage the lights. So I have blacked out the scene and added a spotlight. I was very happy with the outcome and wanted to share it in the form of a tutorial.
This video tells one way to black out a scene in Unity projects, but it is possible to black out scenes with different flows. Don’t use directional light and the scene is mostly under shadows. For details on lights in Unity:
