In this tutorial, we build a fully simulated and visually stunning river using Unreal Engine 5.6 and the FluidFlux plugin. From terrain to dynamic foam, we go through every step to create photorealistic water flow with high-quality materials, collisions, and custom splines.
Key Steps Covered:

Landscape Setup → Create a sculpted ramp for natural water flow

River Splines → Use Water Body River, adjust width and flow with spline points

FluidFlux Setup →• Add BP_FluxSimulationDomain (tweak Area Resolution & Height)• Add BP_FluxModifier_SourceActor (set Duration to -1)• Create custom collision setup using Megascans rocks + foliage• Tag foliage with « FluxHide » to remove from simulation using Actor Tags
