Create ELDEN RING in Unity ► EP. 124 Slope Sliding (Pt. 1)




In this video we begin work on our « Slope Sliding » system. What is this system? The functionality in the « Slope Sliding » system will make it so that upon contacting a surface where the angle in respect your players feet is too steep, you will slide off. We create two different kinds of checks, one whilst being grounded and one whilst in the air. The idea is that you will be more inclined to « slide » if you make contact with a steep surface while falling. This system will also be used to slide off of other characters, stopping you from becoming stationary on their head.
