An introduction to Blender game engine by making a simple ball game.
The first tutorial in the series shows how to make the board for the game.
This the second tutorial shows how to use logic brick to rotate the board so that a ball resting on the board can be guided towards the holes that score points.
The tutorial explains two of the three types of logic bricks:-
Logic brick sensors, sense events. In the game the keyboard sensors are used to sense the event of an arrow key being pressed.
Logic brick actuators perform actions in response to the events. In the ball game, motion actuators are used to tilt (rotate) the board.
For the ball resting on the board to move when the board is tilted, the physics property of the ball has to be set to ‘Rigid Body’. Rigid body are moved and rotated in response to forces applied to them.
