Here is the quickest melee combat tutorial for UE4 that you’ll find on youtube. It works great and is almost the exact system that I use in my games. Other tutorials out there take hours to go through. By the end of my video, you’ll have a basic melee system that damages the enemy and kills them once you deal 100 damage. This is the exact tutorial I was I had when I was a beginner and starting out learning how to make games in Unreal Engine 4.
